Clinton lost $8 million in a failed casino venture. He sunk another $2 million into a wealth management company that turned out to be a Ponzi scheme. He reportedly didn't pay his taxes (oweing the IRS $401,432.18 from 2006 and another $57,187.61 from 2010). In his bankruptcy paperwork, he listed another $175,000 in car loans (for three cars) and $412,000 in unpaid child support.

Furthermore, during the 2008 season, Portis (along with O.J. Simpson) became the only player in history to have rushed for at least 120 yards in five consecutive games. However this came to abrupt end when he succumb several injuries, which led to his departure from the Redskins in 2011.
