In the mid-1970s, Marco and Joel formed the band Los Bukis, which went on to release more than 15 albums over the next two decades, including "Falso Amor" (1975), "A Donde Vas" (1985), and "Por Amor a Mi Pueblo" (1995). The group found success in Mexico, the U.S., South America, and Central America, and in 1995, the other members told Solís that they wanted to make a new band without him. Marco subsequently embarked on a solo career, and he released his debut solo album, "En Pleno Vuelo," in 1996. It reached #3 on the "Billboard" Top Latin Albums and Latin Pop Albums charts and was certified Gold in the U.S. Five singles from that album were top 10 hits on the "Billboard" Hot Latin Songs chart.
